Mechanical Keyboards

This is a recent one. A friend gave me a few things for a Iris keyboard for free. I need to get nice keycaps and switches, but I’ve been picky :x. I liked the feel of the Kailh’s light green switches and got them, but they were clicker than I thought once I started assembling them.

I’ve built a Sentraq Aluminum 60% Keyboard. I paid for RGB underglow but because the case is aluminum, it doesn’t show (sad). The Cherry Brown switches were nice though! I will likely use these for the future.

I have had my eye on olkb’s Preonic keyboards for a long time…. I just wish they were in stock more often.

Customizing my System

I use Arch Linux and i3 (a window manager) as my desktop environment.

Knitting + Crocheting

I’ve knitted this pattern (Holding Hands, Feeding Ducks) and it came out super nicely. It looked a lot better than the classic knit + purl combo I’ve done with a couple scarves before.

A friend showed me crocheting this summer (Summer 2019) and it’s super satisfying. I’ve crocheted a blanket and am crocheting another one.

I want to crochet a hoodie and knit a pair of socks before I graduate college.
